Fees And Rebates

Psychiatrist and Psychologists Fees

Initial Consultations

There is an upfront fee for most initial appointments with our psychiatrists and clinical psychologists. There is also a Medicare rebate for eligible patients. You will need to visit your General Practitioner (GP) and obtain a referral letter to our practice in order for our clinicians to review the referral and offer an appointment.

Follow-Up Consultations

There is also upfront fee for most follow up appointments with our psychiatrists and clinical psychologists. Medicare rebate can be processed for eligible patients. You will need to ensure you have a valid referral from your General Practitioner (GP) to continue claiming your Medicare rebate.

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) Assessments

Our psychiatrists undertake ADHD assessments. The number of appointments for ADHD assessments can vary depending on the complexity of the patient presentation. You will be provided assessment tools to be completed and you will be requested to do an electrocardiogram (ECG) and Urine Drug screen (UDS) prior to prescription of stimulant medication. If indicated, you will also be referred to a Clinical Neuropsychologist.

Clinical Neuropsychology assessments

Clinical Neuropsychology assessments are done by Dr Andrew Sheridan at Suite 306. Please visit Dr Sheridan’s tab on this website for more information.

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Assessments

We undertake Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) assessments of people above 16 years of age. The assessments are typically done by Dr Davinder Hans (Consultant psychiatrist) and Dr Andrew Sheridan (Clinical Neuropsychologist). The assessment is divided to an initial appointment with Dr Davinder Hans and a subsequent longer assessment which involves getting collateral information from family and completing validated assessment tools with Dr Davinder Hans and Dr Andrew Sheridan.
